Like almost every shop on the internet, this site places a few small files in your browser. They are called cookies, they hold no personal information, and they exist so that the pages describing Cervok behave sensibly while you read them. This page lists exactly which ones we set, what each is doing there, and how to switch them off if you would rather browse without them.

What a cookie actually is

A cookie is a short line of text that a website stores on your phone or computer and reads back the next time you open the same site. It cannot see your files, it cannot read messages, and it cannot run anything on your device.

The ones we use

• Necessary. They keep the page working — remembering that a section is open, keeping the order form filled while you scroll, and stopping the same form from being sent twice by accident. Without these the site simply misbehaves.
• Preference. They remember small choices, such as whether you have already dismissed a notice, so the site does not repeat itself on every visit.
• Statistics. They count visits in an anonymous, grouped way: how many people opened the page today, which section they read furthest, whether they arrived on a phone or a laptop. We look at totals, never at individuals.

What we never do with them

We do not build an advertising profile from your browsing, we do not follow you across other websites, and we do not attach your name or phone number to any cookie. Nothing you type into the order form is stored in one.

Turning them off

Every browser lets you block or clear cookies from its own settings menu — in Chrome and most Android browsers it sits under Settings, then Privacy and security, then Cookies; in Safari on an iPhone it is under Settings, then Safari. You can also open this site in a private or incognito window, which discards everything as soon as you close it.

One warning worth reading: if you block the necessary group, parts of the page will stop responding properly and the order form may refuse to send. Blocking the statistics group changes nothing for you at all.
